On Friday, I went to a country/western dance night. Kind of a theme party where everyone dresses in western gear, but I was feeling a bit contrary and suffered the consequences.
I dressed to impress…Billie Eilish. Unfortunately, she was not the event photographer who seemed mandated to only take pictures of people in cowboy hats. The outfit I wore (a Christopher John Rogers shirt from my colleague Daniil, my tracksuit bottoms unzipped into bermuda shorts, and my Studio Amelia boots from Absolutely Fabrics) would have been dope with this cowboy hat. Can you see it?
I may not have aced the assignment of cowboy night, but I nailed the vibe I’m aiming for this Spring/Summer. Wear things that make normal people want to bully you. My husband isn’t a normal person exactly, but even he laughed when he saw the shirt. Later, he told me I was dressed like Robin Williams (hell yeah!). Meredith said it looked like I got my shirt from Dan Flash’s. It’s weird how an event photographer ignoring me bothers me so much, and I actually love to be teased like this. I love it when I get in the Uber to go out and my friend says, “That’s what you’re wearing?”
So for Spring Summer 2025, I want more of that. But not weirdness for weirdness’ sake. I’m staunch about only wearing things I authentically love. The puffer coat I am wearing in the video above makes me feel like a hot lil villain, which is a very good thing.
Below are most of the items on my wish list for the season. This doesn’t mean I intend to buy all or even most of them, but this is what has my attention at the moment. The weird stuff makes me happy in a completely different way from the not weird, but a balance between them is what prevents me from feeling either like an influencer at Copenhagen Fashion Week or well, normal. Having both is what makes me feel like me.

Love all of this!!! Weird stuff forever. I literally have a leopard jumpsuit and white mary-jane sneakers that look exactly like the ones you've pictured so I'm well on my way.
Comments from the husband always tell me I’m on the right track.
